Deputy Billy Kelleher asked the Minister for Health the actions the Health Service Executive is taking to combat the rat infestation problem at a location (details supplied) in County Cork which is located in a highly populated area; when this eradication process will start; if there will be ongoing monitoring; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Deputy's question relates to the management and delivery of health and personal services which are the responsibility of the Health Service Executive under the Health Act, 2004. Accordingly, my Department has requested the HSE to have the matter investigated and to reply directly to the Deputy.
