317. Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs the number of persons waiting for an appointment with the adoption information and tracing service in the years 2013 and to date in 2014, with a breakdown based on each regional team. [36471/14]
View answerThe Child and Family Agency has advised that as of the end of June 2014 there were 750 people on the waiting list nationally to receive adoption information and tracing services. The Agency advises that validated data on waiting times by regional team is unavailable at this time. I have asked the Agency to supply this information and will forward it to the Deputy as soon as it is received from the Agency.
