View answerSOLAS, the Further Education and Training Authority, is responsible for planning, co-ordinating and funding Further Education and Training programmes. As part of the Further Education and Training Strategy 2014-2019, SOLAS will undertake a review of all further education and training programmes, including the Youthreach programme. My understanding is that this process will begin with a review of the Post Leaving Cert (PLC) Programme in 2015 and that the review of Youthreach will take place in the latter years of the Strategy period.
