86. Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked the Minister for Health the position regarding the planned extension of free breast screening to women in the 65 to 69 years age bracket; the timeframe now envisaged for its introduction; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [36543/14]
View answerAs indicated in previous replies, I fully support the proposed extension of the Breastcheck screening programme to the 65-69 year age cohort. The timing of the implementation of this priority extension of the service will depend on the availability of resources and will be kept under review in this context.
