Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the contact Irish Water has had with the Data Protection Commissioner; the way Irish Water posted its data protection notice on its website without first clearing this with the Data Protection Commissioner; and if he will ensure that a compliant data protection notice is posted well in advance of the closing date for the public to return their application forms to Irish Water.
