236. Deputy Áine Collins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the reason a person (details supplied) is not in receipt of their headage payment, single farm payment or calf premium payment. [37893/14]

Payments under the 2014 Disadvantaged Areas Scheme began issuing, on target, on 24 September. Processing of the application of the person named has recently been finalised, with payment due to issue shortly, directly to the nominated bank account of the person named.

In the case of the Single Farm Payment, I can confirm that advance payments valued at over €500,000 million are due to commence on 16 October 2014.

The person named applied for the Beef Genomics Scheme/Beef Data Programme on 28 March 20 14 and currently has 41 beef breed animals registered to him. Payments under the 2014 Beef Genomics Programme will commence later this year while payments under the Beef Data Programme are not due to commence until 2015.
