592. Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he will provide a breakdown in tabular form of the average subsidy per passenger journey paid to Dublin Bus, Bus Éireann and Irish Rail in the years 2012, 2013 and to date in 2014. [37808/14]

The allocation and payment of the subvention to all operators, including the amount payable to Irish Rail, Dublin Bus and Bus Éireann  is decided by the NTA in accordance with their PSO contracts with the companies. I have referred the Deputy's question to the NTA for direct reply.
