Deputy John Paul Phelan asked the Minister for Finance if there is a central organisation of the State bodies and agencies that receive payments by means of credit-debit card machines because of the wide variation in rates charged by machine operators; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In response to the Deputy's question there is no central organisation of the State Bodies and Agencies under the aegis of my Department that receive payments by means of credit/debit card machines.
