427. Deputy Michael Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the reason a person (details supplied) in County Cork had their single farm payment reduced in 2014 compared to 2013; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [41471/14]

While there is no modulation reduction applicable to the 2014 scheme year payments a linear reduction of 10.49% has been applied to entitlements to bring their total value into line with 2014 ceiling. This reduction applies to all farmers with a Single Farm Payment of over €5,000, including the person named.
