The following figures detail the overall budget for Community Employment for 2013, 2014 and 2015:

Year

Budget

2013

€351.5m

2014

€357.5m

2015

€379m

There has been a marginal increase in the CE budget between 2013 and 2014 to take account of an increase in CE places announced in the 2014 CE Budget. The increase in the 2015 budget figure is to allow for the full year cost of the 2,000 additional places on the programme. The total number of CE places planned for 2015 is 25,300 places.
