Deputy Terence Flanagan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if his Department or the National Roads Authority has carried out an audit of traffic blackspot junctions in Dublin city; if a plan has been put in place to tackle these bottlenecks; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I propose to take Questions Nos. 250 and 251 together.

Traffic management in its area is a matter for the relevant local authority, in this case Dublin City Council, under the relevant Road Traffic Acts.  

The enforcement of any traffic restrictions is a matter for An Garda Síochána
