65. Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Defence the number of members of the Defence Forces who were retired in the interests of the service by the President of Ireland exercising his powers under section 47(2) Defence Act 1954 and Defence Force Regulation A 15, from the inception of the legislation until it was amended in 1985.
