582. Deputy Timmy Dooley asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport his views on measures to integrate the Leap card payment system with public service vehicles such as taxis or hackneys, as occurs within a number of countries to provide further integration within the transport network; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility to develop, procure, implement, operate and maintain the Leap Card system is a function of the National Transport Authority (NTA).
