Coolock/Darndale is one of 14 locations to be delivered as part of a single PPP contract. Considerable progress has been made in progressing the PPP project. In late July 2014, the project was handed over to the National Development Finance Agency (NDFA) for delivery. The Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) documents have been issued and tender returns are due in February 2015. Assessment and evaluation of tenders will follow. Construction would be expected to start by early 2016. The NDFA continues to review the scheduled timeframes and to improve these where possible.
