113. Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Justice and Equality if she will provide in tabular form the total annual budget allocation of her Department to provide for domestic violence related services between 2007 to 2014. [46525/14]
View answerCosc, the National Office for Domestic, Sexual and Gender-based violence, received the funding allocations detailed in the tabular statement for the years 2007-2014. These allocations are inclusive of pay and other costs associated with the office and have not been disaggregated for domestic violence services only in the time available. The Commission for the Support of Victims of Crime has also allocated funding to organisations providing domestic violence services during this time and those figures are included in the table. The main funding for domestic violence services is provided by Tusla, the Child and Family Agency under the aegis of the Department of Children and Youth Affairs. I understand that the amount provided in that respect in 2013 was almost €13.3m.
