Since this Government began its current term of office in 2011 staff numbers have increased in Beaumont Hospital by 3% to 3,017 Whole Time Equivalents (WTEs). It should be noted that while numbers of Management/Admin staff during the same period decreased by 3.2%, (11.5% since the introduction of the moratorium on staff recruitment in March 2009) numbers of medical/dental staff increased significantly by 14%.
