Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 181 of 11 December 2014, when he will issue a decision on the application in view of the fact that the appeal was lodged in July and that Show Racism the Red Card carries out vital racist educational programmes. View answerIt is assumed that the Deputy is referring to Question No. 181 of 11 December 2014 regarding my Department’s Scheme to Support National Organisations.
Pobal were asked to undertake the appraisal and management of the Scheme to Support National Organisations, and, in that context, put in place a dedicated team to deal with any inquiries from applicants and to provide detailed feedback. Furthermore, an appeals process was put in place, on foot of which Pobal submitted a report, which I am currently considering and I expect to be in a position to issue a decision in the near future.
