Deputy Barry Cowen asked the Minister for Finance the number of secondments from the Office of the Revenue Commissioners and his Department respectively to external accountancy firms and consultancy firms in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and to date in 2015; the firms involved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I wish to inform the Deputy that 1 member of staff of my Department was seconded to PWC during the years 2010 to date in 2015.

I am advised by the Revenue Commissioners that there have been no such secondment arrangements in respect of the periods referred to.
