985. Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the number of driver CPC training organisations found in breach of regulations during premises inspections conducted by Competence Assurance Solutions during 2012-13 and 2014; and the number of driver CPC trainers whose services were terminated for breaches of regulations following Competence Assurance Services Class inspections during 2012-13 and 2014. Oversight of the driver CPC regime is the statutory responsibility of the Road Safety Authority.  I have therefore referred the question to the Authority for direct reply.  I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.
