992. Deputy Jonathan O'Brien asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he will provide a progress report on the development of the boxing centre of excellence on Knocknaheeny Avenue, Knocknaheeny, County Cork. [49668/14]
View answerIn the first instance this is a matter for the Cork County Boxing Board. However I can confirm that in April 2014, at the request of the IABA, the Department met with the IABA CEO and the Cork County Boxing Board. Subsequent to that, in July 2014 I also met with the County Board and the IABA. The Board are fully aware of the documentation needed to progress the matter.
