The application for free travel in the case of the person concerned was received on 15th January, 2015. The Department has already advised the Deputy that this application was unsuccessful as the person concerned is under 66 years of age and not currently in receipt of a qualifying payment. The qualifying conditions for all the Department's schemes can be easily accessed on www.welfare.ie.
