134. Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Finance the yield from the high earners restriction in each year since it was introduced; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5379/15]
View answerI am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the additional Income Tax yield in respect of the restrictions introduced in the 2006 and 2007 Finance Acts, with effect from 1 January 2007, limiting the use of certain tax reliefs and exemptions by high income individuals is outlined in the table. These figures are based on returns received and analysis by Revenue.
