Durkan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection if she will verify a decision in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare who received notification dated 20 January 2015 to the effect that the person's claim had been disallowed; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The jobseeker’s allowance application of the person concerned was disallowed as the means of the person concerned could not be determined. This decision was appealed to the independent Social Welfare Appeals Office, and the appeal was disallowed.
