View answerTotal health expenditure for each of the last 5 years, by both public and private, are detailed in the following table. Figures are presented in millions of Euro. Estimates of private health expenditure are compiled by the Central Statistics Office and include health expenditure by private insurance and out-of-pocket payments by households.
