Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the recipients of his Department's grant scheme for maintaining trails in 2013 and 2014; if his Department will operate it again in 2015; if so, when it is expected to open; the budget for same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerA scheme covering trail maintenance on National Way Marked Ways and other priority walks of national or regional significance was operated by my Department in both 2013 and 2014, and the recipients of funding under the schemes are listed in the tables below. A decision regarding the implementation of a similar scheme in 2015 will be made later this year.
