155. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection the position regarding a payment under the one-parent family payment scheme in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [11124/15]
View answerThe one parent family (OPF) payment of the person concerned is currently suspended and under review, as following a visit by an inspector it was established that she had moved address and had not notified this Department. The last OPF payment made to the person concerned was on the 19/03/15. The person concerned is due to be visited at her new address in the near future and will be informed of the outcome of the review once completed. The person concerned can if required make an application for supplementary welfare allowance to their local Community Welfare Officer.
