Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the measures that are in place to inhibit the manufacture and use of cloned or false vehicle registration plates which can be used to avoid detection related to a range of offences, such as car toll payments, illegal dumping and car theft; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
