Questions (661)

Jonathan O'Brien

Question:

661. Deputy Jonathan O'Brien asked the Minister for Health his plans to ensure that children who spend time on a waiting list for speech and language therapy in one area, can have that waiting time counted on a different waiting list when they move location, in order to ensure they are not placed at the bottom of the queue. The particular issue raised by the Deputy is a service matter for the Health Service Executive. Accordingly I have arranged for the question to be referred to the HSE for direct reply to the Deputy. If you have not received a reply from the HSE within 15 working days please contact my Private Office and they will follow up the matter with them.
