Deputy Sandra McLellan asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government his plans to ensure that children who are brought up in local authority housing have some kind of right to remain in their family home were something to happen to their parents, in view of the fact that at present they cannot be put on the tenancy until they are 18 years old, if a relative could move in to look after the children; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
