I am informed by An Garda Síochána that the total revenue collected by them from issuing firearm certificates in 2013, 2014 and to date in 2015 is as detailed below. It should be noted that as the certificate renewals cover a 3 year period, the level of receipts will therefore diminish over the course of the 3 year renewal cycle.
2013 €10.755m
2014 €3.697m
2015 €0.619m.
