Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Skills if she has received communications from the authorities at Scoil Bhríde, Clane, County Kildare regarding the upgrading of facilities in the original school in line with those in the new extension; if such work will be undertaken in the context of the summer programme; and if she will make a statement on the matter. View answerThe delivery of this school building project has been devolved to the National Development Finance Agency (NDFA) and commenced on site in March 2014. The brief was for an extension and partial refurbishment of the existing school.
The school authority have now requested that additional works be carried out over and above what was already approved and their request is currently being considered and they will be informed of the decision as quickly as possible.
