128. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs the extent to which a person (details supplied) in County Dublin has received courses in parenting skills or other counselling, with a view to eventually regaining custody of the person's four children, who are all currently in care; the degree to which the person continues to have visitation rights to each child; if any charges are pending in the case; if the children are all being well cared for, at present. I want to thank the Deputy for brining this to my attention. The Deputy will appreciate that I am not in a position to comment, nor would it be appropriate for me to do so, on the specific matters raised. My Department has, however, referred this to Tusla, the Child and Family Agency, for attention and asked that they liaise directly with the person concerned.
