Deputy Michael Fitzmaurice asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if he will make the provision of comfort slat mats eligible for grant aid under the targeted agricultural modernisation scheme 2 when it opens for applications later in 2015; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have no plans at present to include the provision of Comfort Slat Mats in the next suite of TAMS measures under the 2014-2020 Rural Development Programme. However, I will keep the matter under review.
