Deputy Michael Fitzmaurice asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the projected timber and financial losses resulting from wind blow, precipitated by tree felling, pursuant to the construction and ongoing maintenance of a location (details supplied) in County Roscommon; and if he will make a statement on the matter. This is a matter for Coillte. Coillte Teoranta was established as a private commercial company under the Forestry Act, 1988 and day-to-day operational matters, such as financial projections associated with specific projects, are the responsibility of the company.
