Deputy Seán Kyne asked the Minister for Health the reason a general practitioner (details supplied) was refused a rural practice allowance; the criteria on which this decision was based; the methodology used to determine the local population; the reason other general practitioners locally are being paid under similar population circumstances; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
