Deputy Jim Daly asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government when a decision will be finalised regarding a foreshore licence application in respect of a person (details supplied), in view of the urgency of the particular case; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I refer to the reply to Question No. 576 of 20 January 2015 which sets out the position in this matter. My Department continues to await advices from the Chief State Solicitor’s Offices with respect to the legal complexities that have arisen on the assignment of the foreshore leasehold interest in this case.
