View answerMy Department's role in relation to tourism relates primarily to the area of national policy. I have no direct role in relation to the funding of individual festivals and events, which is a matter for the board and management of Fáilte Ireland. Accordingly, I have referred the Deputy's question to Fáilte Ireland for further information and reply.
