I propose to take Questions Nos. 154 to 156, inclusive, together.
Preparations are at an advanced stage in respect of all school-leavers and rehabilitative training graduates to ensure that needs are identified and appropriate services are provided to young people with disabilities. Additional funding of €6 million (at a full year cost of €12 million) has been allocated in the Social Care Operational Plan 2015 to meet the needs of around 1,500 young people who will require continuing health-funded supports. The Health Service Executive (HSE) has assured me that all service providers will be informed of their funding allocation by the end of May. The HSE has also confirmed that all young people and their families will be notified by the end of June of the placement that will be available to them from September.
As aspects of the Deputy's questions relates to service matters, I have arranged for the questions to be referred to the HSE for direct reply to the Deputy. If the Deputy has not received a reply from the HSE within 15 working days, he can contact my Private Office and they will follow the matter up with the HSE.
