Broughan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the current members of the boards of Córas Iompair Éireann, Bus Éireann and Dublin Bus; the chairperson of each board; the recruitment and selection procedures for all these positions; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerThe Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform announced new guidelines for appointments to State Boards on 30th September last. The new process is managed by the Public Appointments Services (PAS) and details are available on www.stateboards.ie. Apart from Worker Directors, appointments to vacancies on State Boards will be dealt with through the PAS portal www.stateboards.ie. The current membership and Chairpersons of the Boards of CIÉ, Bus Éireann, Iarnród Éireann and Dublin Bus are listed below. All appointments to the CIÉ Board are subject to Government approval and appointments to the Boards of Bus Éireann, Iarnród Éireann and Dublin Bus are Ministerial appointees.
