1200. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht if he will re-open the Gaeltacht road grant scheme; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [21810/15]

In view of the strategic importance of the 20-Year Strategy for the Irish Language 2010-2030 and the overall level of funding available under my Department's Gaeltacht Support Schemes, there are no plans to reopen the scheme referred to by the Deputy in the short to medium term.
