Deputy Michael Moynihan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection the total amount paid to the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources in respect of compensation for free television licences issued by her Department in each of the years 2011 to 2014 and in 2015 to date; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Department pays for Free Television licences for people who qualify for the Household Benefits Package.
