250. Deputy Michelle Mulherin asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection the requirement and procedure whereby a householder who has registered with Irish Water may obtain the water conservation grant; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [22178/15]
View answerThe 2015 grant of €100 will be paid beginning in September 2015 to households registered with Irish Water by 30th June 2015 in respect of their principal private residence. During August and September, this Department will be writing to customers who have registered to advise them of the application process. A public information website is available at www.watergrant.ie and there will be further information for customers through various media in the coming weeks.
