Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Education and Skills further to her correspondence (details supplied), if she will provide an update on the situation regarding the qualification allowance; if a decision still has not been made, when she expects a decision to be made; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The position is that the teacher referred to by the Deputy in correspondence reference number 1501403BC has been awarded an Honours Primary Degree allowance. Any arrears due are scheduled to be paid on the 2nd July 2015.
