549. Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Education and Skills further to Parliamentary Question No. 1001 of 9 June 2015, the reason it would be necessary for a person who is over 80 years of age to be employed in order to carry out one hour of work per day, particularly in the context of significantly high levels of youth unemployment. As advised previously the employment of staff in an ETB is a matter for the individual ETB and I have asked the ETB in question to contact the Deputy directly to clarify the position.
