267. Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Finance if an application for tax relief under the drivers and passengers with disabilities scheme will be approved in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny. [26359/15]
View answerI am advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the person concerned applied for tax relief under the Drivers & Passengers with Disabilities Scheme on 2 April 2015. To avail of the scheme, the person with the disability must be in possession of a Primary Medical Certificate. On 8 April 2015 Revenue requested a Primary Medical Certificate from the person concerned. To date, the required Certificate has not been received by Revenue. The application will be processed as soon as the Certificate is provided to Revenue.
