180. Deputy Mary Lou McDonald asked the Minister for Health the annual saving to the Exchequer if the salaries of all hospital consultants earning more than €150,000, gross and net, per year were reduced as follows: 15% where the full year amount of remuneration is more than €150,000 but not more than €200,000; and 30% where the full year amount of remuneration is more than €200,000.
