45. Deputy Tom Fleming asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection if she will urgently investigate and expedite an application for disability allowance in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [26717/15]

In order to determine the circumstances of the person concerned, his file was forwarded to his local Social Welfare Inspector. S/he will arrange to meet with the person in question as soon as possible.

A final decision on his entitlement to disability allowance will be given on receipt of the Social Welfare Inspectors report. The person concerned will be notified directly of the outcome.
