49. Deputy Arthur Spring asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection her plans for time limiting the invalidity pension and shortening the duration of illness benefit. [26786/15]

There is no time limit applying to invalidity pension and illness benefit is currently payable for a maximum of two years, and I have no plans to introduce changes along the lines outlined in the question.
