81. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection the progress to date in determining rent support for a person (details supplied) in County Kildare, who sent in confirmation of his housing need in mid-June 2015; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The client’s rent is in excess of the maximum limit applicable for a person of this family composition living in this location. The Department is in ongoing contact with the client with a view to assessing eligibility.
