51. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection the updated correct level of one-parent family payment in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [27824/15]

The person concerned is in receipt of a jobseekers transition payment (JST). The person concerned has an entitlement of €177.80 per week having regard to her means from maintenance of €80.00 per week. In addition the person concerned has been informed, that there will be a deduction of €27.00 from her weekly JST payment in order to repay an overpayment that was assessed against her. If the person concerned wishes to have the overpayment deduction reviewed she should contact her local office.
